Donald Boesch
Donald Boesch (born November 14, 1945) is Professor and President of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science and Vice Chancellor for Environmental Sustainability for the University System of Maryland In 2010, he was appointed by President Barack Obama as a member of the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling to investigate the root causes of the blowout at the Macondo Prospect in the Gulf of Mexico.

- The BP oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico has resulted in one of the largest oil spills in history and is expected to cause almost unmeasurable environmental damage. The compenastable damage from the oil spill is expected to cause Gulf coast businesses and property owners billions of dollars in damages. The oil rig, which is owned and operated by Transocean and leased to British Petroleum (BP) exploded on April 20th and caused the untimely death of 11 workers.
- BP --the oil company that sux -- hit a snag when they tried to connect its new silly straw to the sucking equipment a mile below the water's surface. BP PLC boss and blame spreader Doug Suttles said said the equipment had to come up for air before it could go back to sucking the long tube that connects to a tanker above.
- PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. – The spews of oil spouting from the shaft on the sea floor is tapering off, as BP Sux changes grip on the pipe, but the sticky mess shot across the Gulf of Mexico, has now dribbled onto the chin of pensacola,defiling wildlife and beaches, normally teeming with sunbathers and swimmers.
- Coast Guard Admiral Allen said that any oil that continues to leak at the source would be treated with subsea chemical dispersants.
- ROBERT, La. – Anger grew along the Gulf Coast as oil oozed into delicate coastal wetlands in Louisiana. BP blew an oil well, and now is now playing with what came out onto the neckline of America. BP says it will go back to catching the spew sometime Tuesday, if it's still in the mood.
